READ 101 - Academic Literacy and Critical Thinking

In this course, students critically read a variety of culturally diverse texts.  Emphasis is placed on the development and application of interpretation, analysis, criticism, and advocacy of ideas encountered in academic readings across the curriculum.  Students write a minimum of 5,000 words of assessed writing during the course..
