This course provides an introduction to Radio Frequency (RF) and Microwave communication systems. Students obtain a working knowledge of passive and active RF and microwave components and circuits for wireless communications: transmission-line theory; planar transmission-lines and waveguides; S-parameters; resonators; power dividers and couplers; microwave filters; sources, detectors, and active devices; and modern RF and microwave measurement techniques. This course is intended for students considering a career in the aerospace and defense industry.
