This course examines the most pressing global issues affecting the world today with an emphasis on the interconnectedness of economic, environmental, social, and political systems. Topics include climate change, human rights violations, global health challenges, international conflicts, migration, economic inequality, and the role of international organizations. Students critically analyze these issues and explore potential solutions through a combination of readings, discussions, case studies, and media analysis.
