NBAS 011 - Basic Financial Literacy

This noncredit introductory course provides entry-level financial literacy knowledge and practical skills for middle and high school students and beginning adult learners. The course topics include financial goal setting, budgeting, saving strategies, basic investing principles, responsible borrowing, and risk management. Students will develop practical skills to manage personal expenses, understand and build credit, save for short and long-term goals, and begin planning for retirement. This course is intended primarily for secondary credit recovery students.
