KIN 297 - Advanced Athletic Training

Prerequisite: KIN 197
Advisory:It is advised that students be able to engage in written composition at a college level and read college-level texts.

This course introduces advanced concepts of athletic training, including instruction for the evaluation and rehabilitation of common athletic injuries. Advanced taping and bracing techniques are also presented and practiced. This class is designed for students interested in becoming a certified athletic trainer or who are preparing for a career in any allied health care profession.
