This course is designed to prepare students for the study of calculus. It presents a comprehensive study of linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, rational, and trigonometric functions. Inequalities, introductory analytical geometry, polar coordinates, polar equations and their graphs, DeMoivre's Theorem and an introduction to sequences are also included. Support will focus on essential algebra and trigonometry skills. This includes solving equation and inequalities, studying types of functions and their transformations, and solve applied problems. Support will also emphasize study skills. This course will be a prerequisite for MATH 190.
