MUS 116 - Diverse Instruments Ensemble

Prerequisite:Successful audition with instructor approval required prior to enrollment to demonstrate proficiency of entry skills.

This course is designed for electric instrumental students, acoustic instrumental students, and vocal students who are at a beginning or intermediate level. Students perform together in one ensemble. The content is arranged for the instrumental and vocal makeup of the class and includes a diversity of styles such as popular, jazz, and contemporary classical music. Improvisation is introduced at a beginning and intermediate level appropriate to the style.
