NBAS 047 - Spanish 1A

This is an introductory course in Spanish that focuses on developing students’ capacity to use the language and to appreciate Spanish-speaking cultures. Emphasis is placed on skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar acquisition through communicative activities and richly diverse cultural explorations as well as cross-cultural connections. This class is designed for those students who do not have a Spanish language background who wish to learn to speak Spanish and is intended primarily for secondary credit recovery students.
