PLMB 040B - Trade-Related Math

Prerequisite:Enrollment restricted to State Indentured Plumbers Union Apprentices

This course is designed for indentured apprentices registered with the State of California who are pursuing a career in the plumbing industry. Students receive instruction in trade-related mathematics, including the use of fractions, decimals, and percentages. The course also covers the fundamentals of 3-4-5 triangles. By the end of the course, students will be able to calculate pipe fitting allowances and apply grade measurements to piping problems.
