THTR 161 - Playwriting Screenwriting for Production

This course is designed for students who want to work on their playwriting/screenwriting craft with an eye to the professional market. Students write, rewrite, and refine written works for production and also read plays, screenplays, and teleplays that have been produced recently. In addition, students realistically appraise the marketability of their script through staged readings by student actors for an audience.
