WELD 042 - Fundamentals of Welding Theory and Safety

Advisory:It is advised that students be able to engage in written composition at a college level and read college-level texts.

This introductory course is designed for students with little to no prior welding experience. It provides foundational knowledge of welding processes, safety protocols, industry applications, and theoretical concepts before advancing to hands-on training in WELD 040 – Introduction to Welding Processes. Topics include the history of welding, basic welding terminology, material science, and the role of welding in various industries.
