WELD 124 - Introduction to Metal Art Welding and Design

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of metal art welding and design, combining hands-on welding techniques with artistic metalworking skills. Students learn to create functional and decorative metal art pieces through various cutting techniques, welding processes, and finishing methods. Emphasis is placed on safety, proper use of tools and equipment, design principles, and the development of a personal artistic style. At the end of this course, students will have a collection of metal artworks showcasing their skills in metal art and design.
